I had eyelid surgery done with Dr. Babak Maleki a year ago, and I can’t recommend him and his whole team enough. Dr. Maleki and his team are professional yet so approachable. A special thanks to Josephine, who is incredibly down-to-earth and knowledgeable, making the whole experience even better. Post-op, the follow-ups were thorough. They kept a close eye on my recovery, making sure I was healing properly and addressing any issues or questions I had along the way. Recovery was definitely a journey, requiring patience more than anything. It took about a year to see the final results, but it was worth every moment of waiting. The transformation was significant and natural-looking, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
If you're in the market for an excellent eyelid surgeon, I definitely recommend Dr. Maleki and his excellent team. You're in good hands with them!
I also can’t recommend SUNNY enough! She is an absolute great Medical Aesthetician at Dr. Maleki’s clinic. From the moment you meet her, you can feel her positive energy and warmth. She is super knowledgeable about all the procedures and makes sure to explain everything in detail, which I really appreciate. She never rushes through my treatments and takes her time to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied with the results. dr Maleki botched my eyes beyond recognition and repair

Dr Maleki is charging specialist prices and my blepharoplasty looks done by a resident at his first surgery
A year before meeting dr Maleki I had a blepharoplasty which left me with a scar and a little vascularisation on my upper lids. I read that dr Maleki does this type of correction with laser.
During my first visit, he recommended full upper and lower blepharoplasty CO2 filler under the eyes, and he made it look very straightforward. He said that I have no crease and puppy eyes which are aging me, and he can do my eyes to look natural and 70% better. Also, he said he will use a special technique and surgery will be scar free For questions send an e-mail. “I sent my questions and for 2.5 month nobody answered phone or e-mail. I wrote a negative comment regarding this attitude
After the comment, Dr Maleki called me and explained that since Covid there are some stuff issues.
I made the first payment, and ONLY THEN he asked me through e-mail to remove the negative review from Google and Rate MD and I quote “The best way to remove the content is that F. send an email directly to [email protected] and copy [email protected]” and Irfan can assist.
At that moment I should’ve choose to lose the first payment and run. I should’ve asked myself; what kind of doctor with a good ethic ask a patient to remove a bad comment, and what is the truth behind all the stellar reviews he is getting. How many others were asked to do the same thing?

Surgery Day -Everything was rushed; the answers to my questions were the same “You have to trust me” and “The other doctors didn’t know what they were doing “.
Especially being a revision, I wonder, what explanation he can possibly have for not taking any measurements and markings. He clearly states on all the internet and several YouTubes how pre-op preparation, measuring and marking are the most important part of a surgery. Josephine the nurse handed him the marker but he said that he does not need it.

Post surgery -2 days later I started having infections. I called and e-mailed several times to get an appt. I had my left eye patched and I used a lot of antibiotics and steroid creams
My stitches were not removed properly and they got infected. Despite my discomfort dr Maleki said that they will resorb eventually. I had to go to another doctor to remove the stitches.
In all the post- op appointments he was always arrogant, defensive, no empathy for what I was going through for so long due to his surgery. Ignoring the obvious he explained me that surgery was good but the body is not a machine and he will not do a correction because no matter how good the result is “ I am the never happy type of person” He didn’t take any responsibility for the unwanted outcome but instead he put great effort in making me feel inadequate ,mentally unstable and impatient. At the same time, he was continuing to push procedures like brow lift or IPL
Almost 3 years later my eyes are different shape and size, right eye is bigger and round, the left eye is longer it opens less. When I look down is like I have the left eye closed.
I still have difficulties closing the left eye. The upper lid is in a bad position and is sticking on my eyeball. This was explained by other plastic surgeons I went in Canada, US and Europe
My eyelids are red and wrinkled, loose skin under the eyes, more scars than before, the filler under the eyes is all bumps and lumps, I have big indents at the corners of both eyes. To have normal looking eyes the only fix is to have skin transplant and start from the beginning
But the worst is that my vision was severely affected from all the infections and steroid creams and now I have to do cataract surgery on both eyes.
3 months ago, I sent an e-mail to dr Maleky with my concerns, feedback from other doctors and updated pictures. I also called for an appointment. Same attitude. No answer

Dr Maleki and his nurses have amazing bedside manner and make sure their patients are 100% satisfied. They are always quick to respond to follow up questions and offer advice and guidance. I had my lower eye bags treated and the difference is night and day. I would definitely recommend him. His results are beautiful and completely natural.

Hi, I’m John in my early 60’s and went to Dr Maleki because of my hooded eyelids and droopy eyebrows that made me look angry all the time.

The consultation was set up, and my wife came along for support. I really didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised when Leo, working at the front desk, welcomed us warmly while we waited to be called into the consultation room.

Our immediate impression is that this is a very well-run office and a busy practice. The staff are professional, and you could tell they work very well together and are supportive of each other. I do think this is an important consideration when selecting a surgeon.

The consultation with Dr Maleki and nurse Josephine went very well. Dr. Maleki examined me and recommended a Direct Brow Lift and Upper Blepharoplasty. He told me I was a good candidate for the surgery. I had a list of questions printed out, Dr. Maleki was very patient and took time to answer all my questions.

On the day of the surgery, I was very nervous, all staff were understanding and supportive. The surgery was scheduled for 1:00pm and we were ushered into a consultation room to wait for the nurse and Dr Maleki to do the preoperative review and answer any final questions prior to the operation. Surgery was a breeze with some classic rock playing in the background.

I’m 30 days post op now and everything is awesome. I went back to work after two weeks with very minimal scaring.

I’m giving Dr Maleki and his staff 5 out of 5 for a job well done.

Where do I begin? Dr. Maleki is an artist for the eyes. No more "you look tired" comments. I feel like a refreshed version of myself! He added a bonus of better skin with a C02 laser treatment after surgery. His staff is amazing. I felt comfortable and informed through each step of the process. Thank you 🙂
